About the Recipe
These Italian Nachos are a delicious appetizer, loaded with cheese, Stoysich Italian Sausage and Peppers, olives and fresh Basil. Packed with flavor, easy to make and perfect for game day!

Ingredients
15 oz. Pita chips or Corn Tortilla Chips -
4 oz. shredded Italian cheese blend
16 ounces Stoysich Italian Pepper Sauce
1½ Pounds Stoysich Italian Sausage (Mild, Hot or Fennel and Garlic) Use single sausage Flavor or a combination of Flavors!)
4 ounces fresh mozzarella (thinly sliced)
½ cup assorted sliced green and black olives)
Fresh basil (chopped)
Shredded Parmesan or Romano cheese (optional)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Remove Italian Sausage From Casings and Brown in pan. OR, if you prefer, Grill or Pan Fry Whole Sausage and slice or dice cooked sausage.
When Sausage fully cooked, mix in to the Stoysich Italian Pepper Sauce. Set Aside.
Line a half sheet pan with foil or parchment paper.
Spread the chips evenly over the top.
Sprinkle with the Italian cheese blend, then bake for 6-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Remove the pan from the oven, then dollop/spread with The Italian Pepper and Sausage Sauce, and top with rounds of fresh mozzarella and sliced Olives.
Return to the oven and bake for another 6 minutes. Turn off Oven.
Set oven to Broil. Broil for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and starting to brown.
Top with fresh basil and shredded Parmesan cheese, and serve immediately.
