By the same token, customers enjoy our Bone-In Ham, as it offers a slightly different flavor profile.

The bone adds flavor and this ham has a bit more fat, thus adding to flavor and moisture as well.

If you’re hosting a holiday dinner for a crowd, you may wonder what size ham you’ll need to feed everyone, and still have enough to send guests home with a plate of leftovers.

For the Country Style Ham, we advise 1/3 - 1/2 Pounds per Person.

So if you have six guests, a Three Pound ham would be adequate. Everyone enjoys left over ham - so you may want to add for that. Another consideration is how many of your guests are young children. . .

The Size of our Whole Country Style Ham is 14 to 16 Pounds. Hams are Sold Whole or Half on the Retail Floor. If you want a three pound ham, you will need to order that at the meat counter - Our Butcher will cut what ever size/weight you want.

For The Bone-In Ham, we advise 3/4# Per Person

The per person weight is more because we must account for the weight of the bone.

Bone-In Hams are offered in the 15-16 Pound Range - Sometimes, we have larger bone in Hams (up to 18 pounds).

Our Bone-In Hams are sold one of two ways: Whole or Cut in Half.

Again, you may want to buy a slightly larger whole ham to ensure you have plenty for everyone to take some home. And, save the bone for Ham & Bean Soup!

Vacuumed Packaged Hams

Our Retail Stoysich Hickory Smoked Hams are fully cooked and vacuumed packaged to retain freshness.

Each Ham is labeled with a "Sell By Date". This date indicates how long you can store your ham in the refrigerator.

If freezing, put in freezer immediately after purchase. Can remain frozen up to 2 months.

Hams Custom Cut and Wrapped in Butcher Paper

If you prefer, we will custom cut your Boneless Country Style to your weight specifications.

Store your Butcher Paper Wrapped Ham in the Refrigerator for 5-7 Days. If planning to freeze, instruct butcher to double wrap for freezer. Can remain frozen up 2 months.

Our Hickory Smoked Ham is Fully Cooked.

To Re-Heat Country Style or Bone-In Ham, set oven at 300°. For Cooking time, allow 15-20 Minutes per pound. (The weight of your ham is on the price label.)

Ham is fully warmed when internal temperature reads 140° on meat thermometer.

Allow meat to rest for at least three minutes before carving or consuming. For reasons of personal preference, you may choose to warm ham at a higher temperature.

To store leftover ham, place it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within three days. For longer storage, freeze the ham, but note that it retains its best quality for only one to two months. Enjoy your Stoysich Ham leftovers!
