Sliced Hot Dog Strips make for a fun Halloween Trick and Treat! Add BBQ Sauce or Just serve with ketchup.
Ingredients
8 Stoysich Smoked Hot Dogs
8 slices American or Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup BBQ Sauce - optional
8 Hamburger Buns
Preparation
Step 1
Cut each Stoysich hot dog lengthwise into 6 strips
Step 2
In 10-inch nonstick skillet, heat hot dog strips over medium-high heat until strips begin to curl
Step 3
If desired, Gently stir in barbecue sauce until hot dog strips are coated, heat until bubbly
Step 4
Place slices of Cheese on bottom halves of buns
Step 5
Top with hot dog 'worms' mixture, and cover with top halves of buns
This also can be fully prepared in a crock pot.
