About the Recipe
This corn on the cob recipe is super easy to make. Added at the end, the fresh herbs, butter and seasonings take the plump, juicy corn over the top. It is savory and flavorful. Crock Pot Corn on the Cob is the easiest way to make perfect corn on the cob every time!
Ingredients
Savory Herb Butter
4 Ears of Corn Shucked and Cleaned
1 Cup of Water
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
3 cloves garlic minced
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Lemon Parsley Butter
7 Ears of Corn Shucked and Cleaned
1/4 Cup of Water
1/4 Cup Butter Melted
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
3 Tbsp Fresh Parsley Minced
1 Tbsp Fresh Chives Minced, I used Freeze Dried
Salt and Pepper to Taste I used Kosher Salt
Preparation
Place corn in 6 quart slow cooker.
Cover with 1 cup water.
Cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Drain.
Mix all remaining ingredients and drizzle over corn.
Take two wooden spoons and gently toss to coat.
