About the Recipe

This is creamy sausage dip recipe doesn’t call for a ton of ingredients. All you need is Stoysich pork sausage, canned diced jalapeños, sour cream, cream cheese, onion powder and dried onion.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb., Hot pork sausage

  • 1 lb. Regular pork sausage

  • 2 T + 2 tsp canned diced jalapeños, Option: don't drain the liquid. - it adds more heat and spice

  • 16 oz sour cream

  • 16 oz of Cream Cheese

  • 1 tsp onion powder or 1 tablespoon dried chopped onion

Preparation

Step 1


  • In a large pan over medium heat, brown the sausage. As it cooks, continue to crumble and chop into fine pieces.

  • Once the sausage is brown and cooked all the way through, drain any liquid.


Step 2


  • Add the cream cheese, sour cream, diced jalapeños, dried chopped onion (if using), and onion powder. 

  • Turn heat down to medium-low. Stir until cream cheese is melted and all of the ingredients are incorporated 



Step 3


  • Serve warm with tortilla chips. or your favorite bagel chips
