About the Recipe
If you are looking for an easy, REALLY easy appetizer, this is the recipe you need! Add everything to the bowl of your crockpot. Set on low and forget about it for about 3 hours, or until warm. That’s it!
2 Pounds Mini Polish (or any Stoysich Smoked Sausage such as Andouille or Smoked Cajun)
1¼ cups (400 g) apricot preserves
1 jar (12 ounces) chili sauce
2 tablespoons bourbon*
*as an option, can use rum or brandy
Mix maple syrup, apricot preserves and bourbon (or apple juice) in a bowl.
Add the sliced kielbasa to a 3 to 4 quart slow cooker.
Pour the liquid mixture over the kielbasa.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
