Bacon Cheese Balls

About the Recipe

These cheese appetizer bites offer a wonderful mix of flavors from savory to smoky and even a bit of citrus!


  • 8 ounces cream cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar

  • 8 chopped cooked Stoysich Bacon slices

  • 3 very finely chopped cooked Stoysich Bacon slices

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • Zest and juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 1/3 cup of chopped chives


Step 1

Mix Chream Cheese and Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Blend well.

Step 2

Add the Dijon mustard, Lemon Zest and Juice, Blend well.

Step 3

Fold in the 8 Chopped and Cooked Bacon Slices

Step 4

Use a Melon Ball tool to portion into invidicual bite size servings.

Step 5

Chill for 40-60 minutes

Step 6

Mix the 3 slices of finely chopped bacon with the chopped chives. Spread out on a plate.

Step 7

Roll each chilled cheese ball in bacon and chive mixture - display on a serving platter
